CMTU would like to share some upcoming events that our members are invited to.

CaddisFest 2026

Location: Foolhardy Hill Campground in Charlemont MA

The MA/RI Council is having it’s annual 2026 Caddis Fest Weekend on Friday, June 5 thru Sunday, June 7th at the Foolhardy Hill Campground in Charlemont MA. We have secured the entire campground. Keep in mind that this is the guaranteed low flow weekend for the Deerfield River. If any members are interested in attending please email centralmasstu@gmail.com. Space is limited.

Foolhardy Hill is off-grid; The cabins are free of electricity, plumbing and gas connections meaning there is no air conditioning or heat.  Cabins are outfitted with bunk beds, linens are not provided. Solar and battery powered lighting systems are available at the cabins, however, guests should come prepared with back up light sources and their own portable charging stations. There is cell service at the property.  Please note all guests must be 16+ years of age. The campsite is pet friendly.

GBTU 2026 Fly Fishing Film Tour

Location: Somerville Theatre
55 Davis Square, Somerville, MA

GBTU is hosting the 2026 Fly Fishing Film Tour on March 14 at the Somerville Theatre.

Saturday, March 14th, 2026
Doors open at 1:00 p.m., film starts at 2:00 p.m.
Attendees will be eligible to win a variety of prizes including over $1000 worth of door prizes and tour wide prizes that include trips to Argentina, Iceland, Chile and more.

Captain Dave Marciano coming to NEFT

Location: Singletary Rod & Gun 300 Sutton Ave in Oxford
