Central MA Chapter of Trout Unlimited – June Newsletter Meeting Update The May meeting was our last one before our summer break. Meetings will start again in September continuing every 2nd Thursday of the month. We hope to see you there! CMTU would like to thank Bill Doyle for his Tenkara fishing presentation. Bill provided a history of Tenkara fishing in Japan and the US, education on components and the companies that make them, along with some really cool videos and other useful information. He was also gracious enough to donate a DRAGONtail Shadowfire 365 12′ rod to CMTU. This rod will be available for any of our members to borrow. It comes with line and is ready to fish, just add your own fly. If you are interested in trying this rod out please email centralmasstu@gmail.com. Volunteers Needed Our TU chapter is looking for a volunteer(s) to set up and maintain a Facebook page for us. Once it’s set up, it will probably only be monthly updates: Our monthly newsletter, chapter updates, photos, etc. We need to grow our chapter with more monthly attendees and social media may help us in this regard. This will help us reach out to even more fisher folks. Please let us know if you are interested and can help us with this project. Bring your ideas along too.
