Central MA Chapter of Trout Unlimited – April Newsletter April Chapter Meeting – With the weather warming up, and the rivers getting into fishable conditions, April is usually the start of our fishing season here in MA. Dave Fox will lead us in tying a soft hackle wet fly, and the White Wulff at our April meeting. We thank Adam Kautza, Coldwater Fisheries Project Leader for his presentation of MA wild brook trout. The meeting was informative and well attended. For those who were not able to attend, we have a copy of Adam’s presentation, and will send it to you. Just contact us. Upcoming events: May 14th meeting – Tenkara demonstration with Bill Doyle June 5th though the 7th – Caddis Fest at the Fool Hardy Hill Camp Ground, in Charlemont, MA on the Deerfield River June through August- NO CMTU meetings The chapter gathering is free to attend and open to all, regardless of whether you are a Trout Unlimited member or not. Pizza will be provided, and drinks are available through the club. Donations are accepted.
