November Chapter Meeting –

Date: Thursday, November 12th

Time: 6pm to 8pm

Location: Auburn Sportsman’s Club
50 Elm St, Auburn, MA 01501

The Central Massachusetts Trout Unlimited chapter meets the second Thursday of each month, September through May, at the Auburn Sportsman’s Club (50 Elm Street, Auburn, MA). Meetings run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. They are free, open to all ages, and include complimentary pizza. The chapter gathering is free to attend and open to all, regardless of whether you are a Trout Unlimited member or not.

We will focus on knots at the November meeting. Everyone has a favorite knot that they can tie in the dark, and when your hands are frozen. Learn additional knots, and tricks to tie them correctly and efficiently. Bring along a spool of large diameter tippet material, a few flies or bare hooks, and a set of nippers. We’ll show you our favorite knots, and you can show us yours.

Has anyone been fishing on the Quinapoxet River lately? We know, water levels have been low. But if you’ve seen any signs of Land Locked Salmon migration above the old dam, we’d like to know. We want to report any signs of salmon activity to the state fisheries biologists. You can contact us at centralmasstu@gmai.com
